Notting Hill Café & Fine Food
Accessibility

Our service
Notting Hill Gastro GmbH operates this website with café information, a menu, and contact and application forms. The ordering function supports selecting food and drinks, customising an açaí bowl and editing a cart. Online payment uses the SumUp-hosted payment page. Confirmed orders must be shown to our team; they are not automatically sent to the till or kitchen. Our company address and contact details are in the legal notice.
Using the website
The website supports keyboard navigation using Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter and Space. Menus and dialogs have labelled controls; Escape closes open dialogs. Visible focus indicators help with navigation. Forms have associated labels and required-field messages. Browser zoom and text enlargement are supported.
German and English page languages are identified. Order controls and accessible descriptions use the selected language. Prices and order options are provided as text. Reduced-motion preferences are respected. Product photographs supplement written product names.
Review status and known limitations
Checks have covered keyboard use, dialog focus, control sizes, selected colour contrasts, and forms, the configurator and cart on narrow and wide screens. This information describes the current implementation; a full assessment of all BFSG requirements and applicable standards has not yet been completed.
Outstanding checks include comprehensive testing with actual screen readers, all contrasts over changing background images, and end-to-end accessibility of the external SumUp payment pages. The downloadable PDF order summary has not been fully assessed for document accessibility; the order information is also available as text on the website. Testing will continue as features are updated.
